IMD predicts heavy rain on July 1-2 in Gujarat, followed by light to moderate showers from July 3-5

Gandhinagar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall in several areas of the state on July 1 and 2. Following that, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are anticipated in multiple parts of the state from July 3 to 5.

According to the IMD bulletin, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are highly likely at most places in all the districts of the Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch, as well as in Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli, for next five days.

Weather Warning for the next 5 days for Gujarat State Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli :

On July 1, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the following districts: Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Junagadh, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Botad, Surendranagar, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Daman-Diu, and Dadara Nagar Haveli.

However, heavy rains are likely at isolated places in the districts of Patan, Ahmedabad, Anand, Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Vadodara, and Narmada, as well as in Rajkot, Porbandar, and Morbi in the Saurashtra region.

On July 2, Heavy rains are very likely at isolated places in the districts namely, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad Dwarka, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Porbandar and in Daman, Dadara Nagar Haveli.

On July 3, Light to Moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of the Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch and in Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On July 4, Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of the South Gujarat region and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. Additionally, in the districts of the North Gujarat region, namely Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar, as well as in all the districts of Saurashtra and in Diu.
