Love Jihad case in Bharuch: Atik who introduced self as Arav to marry a Hindu girl arrested

The Hindu female, belonging to the Schedule Caste community used to work at an office. The owner of the office and two others introduced a youth to her as Arav Parmar. The youth told victim Hindu girl that he too belonged to the Schedule Caste community and befriended her. Later, both did registered marriage at Vadodara. The accused repeatedly raped her after getting married to her as Arav Parmar. The female learnt that his original name was Atik Saiyad after she found their marriage certificate in his car.

The victim Hindu girl decided to break all the relations with Atik. The accused Atik’s parents went to the female’s home and told her parents that their son earned the virtues (Punya) of seven births by marrying a Hindu female. They also told them that their daughter is now a Muslim. They also allegedly abused the female regarding her caste.

The accused Atik threatened the Hindu female to make her photographs viral on social media after she broke the relationship. Atik had also given threats to commit suicide. The police nabbed Atik and declared his parents, the office owner, and two others as wanted in this case. DeshGujarat
