Dog bites teen in Bharuch; owner booked

Bharuch: A police complaint has been filed against the owner of a pet dog after the dog bit a teenager in Kantidara, Zaghadiya taluka.

The complaint was filed at Rajpardi police station by Mahesh Vasava. Mahesh Vasava and his son Mayur had gone to their farm. When Mayur was returning home alone from the farm, a pet dog belonging to Suresh Vasava bit him on his left leg as he passed by Suresh’s house. Mayur was taken to a government clinic for treatment.

After the treatment, Mahesh Vasava went to Suresh Vasava’s house and advised him to keep his pet dog tied up to prevent it from biting others on the street. However, Suresh Vasava became angry and used abusive language. He allegedly grabbed a stick and hit Mahesh Vasava with it. Suresh Vasava then declared that he would not keep the dog tied up, regardless of the consequences.

Mahesh Vasava received first aid treatment and subsequently filed a police complaint against Suresh Vasava at Rajpardi police station. DeshGujarat
