Drunk & drive dangerously; A person on BMW driving seat arrested by Satellite police in Ahmedabad

Sabarmati: Sattelite police have nabbed one Kamlesh Tulsibhai Bishnoi, resident of Shiromani bungalows of the CTM area in the city under Motor Vehicle Act section 185 and prohibition act section 66(1)(b).

According to a complaint filed by Police, Bishnoi was drunk without a permit and driving a BMW car GJ01KA6566 like the walk of a snake. The accused is 40 years old. Police said they received a message that one person is held by the people as he was drunk and driving dangerously near the Manekbaug post office. When police reached, the accused was not in control of his body as he was drunk.

The locals who chased the accused stated that Bishnoi was driving dangerously and he continued to overspeed the car even after tyre burst. The car had ‘BISHNOI’ written on its back. However, as per the RTO record, it is owned by one Sugathan Vellaudhan who is a third owner. The car’s fitness is expiring in May next year. Its insurance expired way back in 2013. DeshGujarat
