July 28, 2023
Chhota Udaipur: Nasvadi Hindu Dharma Sena presented a memorandum to the mamlatdar, demanding the prevention of the establishment of a new Kabrastan (Graveyard) in an area allotted to Muslims, citing the exciting Kabrastan. The allotted land falls in an area inhabited by Hindu population.
The Nasvadi gram panchayat had allotted approximately 2 acres of land to Muslims for constructing a Kabrastan, which was allotted by the then-prant officer. The Hindu Dharma Sena requested the authorities halt the establishment of the Kabrastan on that land, citing the existence of an existing Kabrastan for Muslims in the village. On one side of the land, there is Sarkar Residency Society, and on the other side, there is Vrindavan Society, both inhabited by Hindu residents. The land is also adjacent to the Rayanghoda area, which also has Hindu residents. DeshGujarat
