Ahmedabad: A woman enjoying kayaking lost her balance and fell into the Sabarmati River today but was later rescued by the Kayaking agency crew.

The incident took place when the woman was in a kayaking boat on the Sabarmati riverfront, wearing a life jacket. While she was in the middle of the river with the boat, she lost her balance and fell into the water. The quick response from the kayaking agency’s rescue team saved her from any harm.

An official from the kayaking activity shared with the media that the woman fell into the river during the first slot of kayaking water sports activity this morning. The rescue team acted swiftly, reaching the middle of the river with a boat to retrieve her immediately. They brought her back to the riverbank and ensured her safety. The kayaking manager mentioned that the woman’s overweight condition might have contributed to the loss of balance and the subsequent incident.
