GS Malik joins office as Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad city

Ahmedabad: Gyanender Singh Malik took charge of the office of the city police commissioner of Ahmedabad today afternoon. He received the guard of honor as he arrived at the Police Commissioner office at Shahibaug area of the city.
Born on 15 November in year 1965, a year 1993 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, GS Malik joined the Police Service on 8 January 1994. Malik is B.Tech. (Elect.), L.L.B by education. He hails from Haryana. He had been Additional Director General(North) of CISF in New Delhi on deputation to Government of India.

Malik will retire from the Police Service in November 2028. He took charge today in presence of incharge police commissioner Prem Vir Singh. Malik succeeds retired police commissioner Sanjay Srivastava. DeshGujarat
