GCMMF Amul announces pay hike of Rs 30 per kg/fat for milk producers

Anand: Estimated over five lakh milk producers of Anand, Kheda and Mahisagar districts in Central Gujarat, associated with Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF – Amul) will get pay hike of Rs. 30 per kg/fat with effect from upcoming 11 August due to rise in input cost for milk producers.

Instead of exiting pay of Rs. 820 per kg/fat, the milk producers will get Rs. 850 per kg/fat from August 11.

Every pay hike announcement for milk producers eventually results in a price hike for consumers. In view of this, another hike in prices of Amul milk is possible in the near future. DeshGujarat
