An office of prohibition has been filed against Nikhil Patel in Vasna police station. As per the FIR, Rupalben after knowing about ACB detention of her husband, called Nikhil Patel, resident of Yogeshwar Nagar society and asked to take away cash and liquor bottles from her resident at Ramtirth society in Jivraj Park area. Accordingly Nikhil had taken cash and bottles from Marakna’s house and kept them in car. When Patel was trying to leave the place, police stopped the car and searched inside, after which bottles and cash were found from inside.

Accused Marakna’s wife told police persons that Marakna had liquor permit and till year 2024 and he had bought liquor bottles from Army facility as he is an ex-Armyman. However the bottles were found inside the car of Rupalben’s relative Nikhil Patel who had no permit for liquor and therefore Vasna Police has booked Nikhil Patel in prohibition case. Police has taken the copies of Marakna’s liquor permit which was issued from Panchmahal district. Police has also taken copies of the bills of liquor purchased from the Army canteen. DeshGujarat
