Bhuj: A person named Manojbhai Solanki has started construction of a Gurukul in Kukma, here using ‘Vedic Cement.

The ‘Vedic Cement’, also called ‘Gomay Limpan’, is composed mainly of gypsum, lime, clay, and cow dung. The Gurukul is being constructed across 4.25 thousand square feet on 25 thousand square feet of land. Manojbhai runs a trust named Ramkrishna Trust.

Talking about the Gurukul Manojbhai said that Vedic cement has the ability to maintain the temperature inside the building. It is required to pour water for 21 days during the construction of normal cement. However, it is required to only pour water twice for 3 days on the construction made with Vedic cement.

The Gurukul, which is being constructed with Vedic cement, has eight classrooms and one Mandir. There is no use of iron in the structure of the building of the Gurukul. The durability of the constructions made by Vedic Cement is around 200 years, he added. DeshGujarat
