ACB Gujarat traps senior surveyor in bribe case in Chhota Udepur

Chhota Udepur: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has nabbed a senior surveyor of the District Inspector Land Record (DILR) office in Chhota Udepur for demanding and receiving bribes.

According to ACB, a complainant has a sand lease in the river Orsang in Sankheda village of Chhota Udepur district. He had applied for a measurement sheet and marking of the boundary of the lease, for which the accused, Senior Surveyor Ravi Bhayani (33), demanded Rs. 15,000 as a bribe. As the complainant was not willing to pay a bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and the accused official was nabbed after he received a Rs. 15,000 bribe from the complainant.
