One nabbed in Patan for raping a Hindu woman after assuming false Hindu identity

Patan: The police have nabbed an accused named Mohammad Hussain who faces an allegation of raping a Hindu female after luring her in a love affair by introducing himself as a Hindu belonging to the Darbar community of Hindus in Patan.

The complaint was filed at the Patan City A Division police station. The accused, Baloch Mohammad Hussain Fakir Mohammad, started a conversation with the Hindu female by giving her his mobile number on a paper chit. He identified himself as a Hindu belonging to the Darbar community of Hindus. The accused, Hussain, met the Hindu female at her cousin’s wedding, at which the accused had hired out his horse for the wedding procession, it is learnt.

The accused then lured the Hindu female into a love affair and raped her repeatedly for 3 to 4 months. The female later found out that the accused was not a Hindu and tried to break off relations with him. She refused to take his calls or meet him. The accused, Mohammad Hussain, threatened to make her photos viral on social media and raped her repeatedly. The woman then filed a police complaint.

The real name of the accused is Mohammad Hussain alias Darbar Fakirmohammad Sherkhan Baloch (age 19, mainly from Chhapi Firojpura, near Kabrastan, at Abid Patel farm, Vadgam taluka, Banaskantha). He currently lives at Khan Sarovar near Bahuchar Mataji Mandir in Patan. The accused was nabbed by the police within 24 hours after the complaint was filed. He is sent for a medical test.
