73-Year-Old triumphs in laddu eating competition in Rajkot

Rajkot: A 73-year-old man, Govindbhai Lunagariya, won the Laddu Eating Competition in Ganesh Mahotsav held by the BJP in Race-course Ground in Rajkot by eating 21 Laddus in 21 minutes.

Govindbhai Lunagariya, from Sarapdad village, won the Laddu eating competition last year by eating 23 Laddus. Mavjibhai Olakia stood second in the competition by eating 13 and a half laddu. Laddus with a weight of 100 grammes each were served with dal and water in the competition. Those who could eat five laddus in the first five minutes were qualified for the competition. Govindbhai ate 5 laddus within 3 and a half minutes. He had another 16 laddus within the next 17 minutes.

Rameshbhai Panchani Chauhan Kamlesh stood third in the competition by eating 13 laddus. Pritiben Rupareliya stood first among the female participants in the competition by eating 10 laddus. DeshGujarat
