October 07, 2023
Ahmedabad: The parents of the students studying at Shreyas Foundation (school) in Ahmedabad are angered by the irregular fee hike imposed by the school. They approached the District Education Office today to register and submit their complaints.
The parents have alleged that the school increased the fees without the permission of the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC). They have now approached the District Education Officer (DEO) of Ahmedabad City, alleging that the school has raised the fees by ten to fifteen thousand for every class. The school has cited activity charges as the reason for the fee increase.
In protest against the fee hike, the parents reached the DEO’s office today with placards and posters in their hands. However, they protested silently without any kind of clash. In addition to the fee hike, parents also complained about mental harassment, poor quality of education, and the safety of the children at the school. DeshGujarat
