Vadodara: The Gujarat High Court refused to entertain a petition filed by Vadodara based petitioner against demolition of a 121 years old bungalow of Gaekwad era where the government offices are functioning at present. The petitioned withdrew the plea after the High Court refused to give any relief and denied to entertain the plea.
The bungalow is old and in dilapidated situation following which its demolition was proposed. Heritage activists had however challenged this move in the High Court through a Public Interest Litigation. A petitioner had proposed conversion of the bungalow into a museum dedicated to late cricketer Vijay Hazare who had stayed there. DeshGujuarat
