Valsad: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a Gram Panchayat member for taking Rs. 2500 hafta bribe. According to ACB, Suresh Patel (40), member of Namdha gram panchayat in Vapi taluka of Valsad district of South Gujarat demanded and received Rs. 2500 monthly hafta bribe’s first installment from a resident of Sanskar residency for regular waste collection from the building, in spite of safai tax payment by residents. A complainant contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and gram panhayat member was nabbed after he received bribe money. DeshGujarat
