Guidelines for enrolling in the Ayushman Bharat Card BIS 2.0 Application

New Delhi: The guidelines for enrolling in the Ayushman Bharat Card BIS 2.0 Application under the PMJAY scheme have been released.

A guide in PMJAY has been issued, providing essential information on the enrollment process in the Scheme/Ayushman Bharat Card BIS 2.0 application.

In this process, you first log in using your mobile number and then, with using ration card, provide the details of all family members. Within this process, click on the pending members and verify them with an Aadhaar Card OTP. A live photo is uploaded to match the photo on the Aadhaar card.

Verify with OTP by entering the mobile number of any family member and complete the details such as pincode, village, taluka, and district as per the Aadhaar card. After that, submission completes the enrollment process. Later, by clicking on the download option, the beneficiary will receive the Ayushman Bharat card in PDF format.

This initiative eliminates the need for people to visit the health office of the taluka to obtain an Ayushman card for all treatments, including surgery, in both government and private hospitals, provided at no cost by the state government. People can now generate their Ayushman card at home through the application. The generated PDF file of the card can also be used in hospitals approved by the government and health authorities for treatment.
