‘Kattar Muslim’ written on his Insta profile; One nabbed with missing Hindu girl child of Surat

Surat: A 14-year old girl child of Vesu(Surat) based Rajasthani trader was lured through Instagram by a Muslim youth from Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) and later kidnapped. The accused Muslim youth who works as a laborer in a garage in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar has been nabbed by police along with the victim girl child at Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad. An accused Muslim youth had on his Instagram profile picture written as ‘Kattar Muslim’ (staunch Muslim) in green font.

Accused Museb Maniyar had visited Surat to meet the victim child about two months ago and left for Ahmednagar. Recently he returned to Surat again on his birthday and stayed in a local hotel for 3 nights. He had called a victim girl child to meet him and after the birthday celebration, he took away the girl child to a Muslim pilgrim town Ajmer via Mumbai. On return journey to Mumbai from Ajmer, Police nabbed Museb Maniyar(21), resident of Subhashnagar, Koparganv, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, who works in a garage along with a teenager child.

According to ACP VR Malhotra, the girl child was in contact with the accused Muslim youth for last one year. They got to know each other via Instagram. Museb and his minor-age friend took the girl to Maharashtra and then to Ajmer.
