ACB Gujarat trap head constable and GRD jawan in bribe case

Bharuch: Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) of Gujarat Police today booked a Head constable of Netrang Police station Chhanalal Vasava and GRD working in same police station named Dolatsinh Vasava in a bribe case.
According to ACB, the accused had demanded Rs. 1 lakh first and later settled at Rs. 50,000 bribe to remove a complainant’s brother’s name from a police complaint and not to beat him up.
As a complaint was not willing to pay the bribe, he contacted ACB, following which a trap was arranged and Dolatsinh, a GRD jawan was held taking bribe on behalf of head constable Chhanalal Vasava. While middleman Dolatsinh is held, the main accused Chhanalal is on the run. DeshGujarat
