Vadodara group to decorate Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir for consecration ceremony

Vadodara: A team of young individuals from the city has been entrusted with the responsibility of decorating the 2.7-acre premises of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple during the consecration ceremony on January 22 in Ayodhya.

These young individuals have been adorning the Kedarnath temple with flowers for the past two years. This year, the group also decorated the Ambaji temple during the eighth day of Navratri.

Swejal Vyas from Team Revolution said that they met with Mahant Kamal Nayan Das of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya before the Ganpati festivities to invite him to their city. During their meeting with Mahant Kamal Nayan Das in Ayodhya, the topic of flower decoration arose. Coincidentally, a meeting of the temple committee was scheduled for the same day. Following discussions, they received approval to undertake the flower decoration project. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das also visited Vadodara during the Ganpati festival and initiated the work of preparing the VNF garba ground. During his visit, he shared plans for the Ram temple.

To handle this substantial task, Vyas has initiated a social media campaign to recruit volunteers. “We will need manpower, flowers, and meticulous planning to execute the work. We have been asked to visit the temple after Diwali to assess our requirements,” Vyas mentioned.

The group is not only responsible for decorating the temple but also intends to adorn other sites with religious significance, including the bus stand and the railway station. They are even considering chartering a special train from Vadodara to Ayodhya. In addition to volunteers, the group will also engage flower decoration experts for their project. Their vision includes the use of flowers from various parts of the country, including imported flowers, for this significant undertaking. DeshGujarat
