Rs. 4,000 bribe to issue a marriage certificate; ACB Gujarat nabs a junior clerk

Morbi: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a junior clerk who is class-3 employee of Morbi Municipality for demanding and receiving bribe to issue a marriage certificate.
Accused Mahendra Khakhi(57), junior clerk of Morbi municipality had demanded Rs. 4,000 from an applicant who had done love marriage to issue the marriage registration certificate.
A complainant was not willing to pay bribe and contacted ACB in Surendranagar, following which a trap was arranged and accused was nabbed after he received bribe at municipality office in Morbi. DeshGujarat
