Surat: Goldi Solar is embracing the spirit of the Diwali by contributing to the betterment of tribal communities in Gujarat’s Dang region. In this gesture, Goldi Solar will present Ambe Mohar Rice and Doodh Malai Rice, harvested by local farming communities, to its employees, customers, and associates.
Speaking about this gifting idea, Goldi Solar’s Founder and Managing Director, Capt. Ishver Dholakiya remarked, “At Goldi Solar, Diwali is more than a celebration—a commitment to collaborative growth and community support. This year, we aim to make the festival of lights extra special by sharing the agricultural bounty of Dang community farmers with our employees and customers. Through this initiative, we strive to raise awareness about the abundant produce of the Dang region.”
“Aligned with its brand philosophy of Transforming Tomorrow’s Energy, the company is actively working to secure sustainable livelihoods in the Dang villages. A comprehensive array of initiatives has been launched, including the solarisation of villages, significant improvements to local infrastructure, support for emerging athletes, and the provision of skill development and employment opportunities for the region’s young talent. It’s worth highlighting that a 10 per cent of Goldi Solar’s workforce originates from the Dang communities,” said the company in a press statement.
