‘Give Rs. 2.50 lakh, promise job to set up wind mill’ ; two booked in Amreli

Amreli: Two persons are booked for extortion and death threat in Lalka village of Babra taluka in Amreli district of Saurashtra region in Gujarat.

According to police complaint, Inox Green Energy Pvt Ltd company has given a contract to Manyata Enterprise for setting a wind power generation facility at Rj11T1111 location. A sub contractor had started foundation work for setting the wind mill. The land in which wind power mill is being set up is government padtar land.

According to complainant Thobhanbhai Saniya, accused Boghabhai Rathod and Jesingbhai Rathod demanded Rs. 2.50 lakh extortion money to allow the work and also sought promise note that job as security guard will be given to them.
