Four labourers lose lives in Septic Tank in Surat

Surat: Four laborers from Bihar lost their lives due to suffocation after entering a septic tank at a dyeing unit here in Palsana

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at a factory along the Palsana-Katodara road. While cleaning the septic tank, two laborers became unconscious, and in their attempt to rescue them, two others also fainted, as reported by an official from the Pansala police station.

Emergency services were called in, and all four workers were retrieved from the tank. Unfortunately, despite being rushed to the hospital, they were pronounced dead by the attending doctors, the police official stated.

The identities of the deceased, who were originally from Bihar, are currently under verification, the official added. DeshGujarat
