Two more Gujarat cadre IPS for CBI; Both serving as SP in districts

Gandhinagar: Two more officers of the Indian Police Service(IPS) from Gujarat are to be deputed to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) in the Centre. They are 2015-batch IPS Achal Tyagi who serves presently as Superintendent of Police in Mahesana district and 2016 batch IPS Pravinkumar who serves as SP of Anand district police.
There’s a long list of Gujarat cadre IPS officers who have joined the CBI in recent years. They include Manoj Shashidhar, Gagandip Gambhir, V Chandrashekhar, Himanshu Shukla, Piyush Patel, and Amit Vasava. However, among them, Amit Vasava has not been relieved by the State government so far from the post of Ahmedabad(Rural) SP. DeshGujarat
