December 16, 2023
Ahmedabad: The 10th edition of the Gujarat Literature Festival is scheduled to be inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah on December 24 at Gujarat University. This three-day festival is organized with the support of the Gujarat Media Club (GMC).
Gujarat University Vice Chancellor Dr. Neerja Gupta stated, “We are pleased to host the 10th edition of the festival at GU. GLF will be a noteworthy addition to GU’s 75th-anniversary celebrations – Paras Parv.”
GLF founder Shyam Parekh mentioned that the complete schedule will be disclosed by December 20. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Gupta for her support, as well as to GMC President Nirnay Kapoor and his team for their efforts in securing the participation of dignitaries.
“We have always envisioned GLF as an inclusive platform, particularly for emerging writers and authors. Starting from the current edition, we have decided to break it into smaller three to four-day sessions held throughout the year. The 10th edition of GLF commenced by celebrating the 100th year of Sharda Mandir School, introducing literature to children at a young age,” he added. DeshGujarat
