Patan: Congress leader and Patan legislator Kirit Patel has openly expressed his displeasure against the party and threatened to resign.

Patel said he had given it in writing to the party six months ago that if his wishes were not satisfied, he would resign. Patel said the party lacks decision-making power.

Patel expressed his displeasure against the party a day after the resignation of the party MLA from Khambhat from the State assembly. Last week another MLA of the Gujarat assembly from the Aam Aadmi Party, Bhupat Bhayani resigned as a legislator from the Visavdar seat.

Patel said the party should seriously think about the resignation of the party MLA and discuss the issue. Patel said those who worked to ensure his defeat were given posts in the party instead of their removal. DeshGujarat
