25 countries to join 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit as partners; here are the names

Gandhinagar: Twenty-five nations have affirmed their participation as partner countries for the upcoming 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), said the state government’s spokesperson and cabinet minister Rushikesh Patel.

In a press briefing in state capital on Wednesday regarding the preparations for VGGS, Patel stated that of the 25 countries, 21 have provided written consent, while the remaining four have given oral confirmation. The annual summit is scheduled to take place from January 10 to January 12.

The countries that have formally agreed in writing include Australia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Poland, and Tanzania. The nations providing oral consent are Kazakhstan, Russia, Uganda, and Saudi Arabia.

Patel also announced that the state government has received written confirmation for the attendance of two heads of states (Presidents), with three more heads of state orally confirming their participation at VGGS.

In the run-up to the VGGS 2024, as of now 2774 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed, indicating potential investments totaling Rs 3.37 lakh crore, with an expected generation of 10.91 lakh employment opportunities.
