Huge stock of banned Chinese kite string seized by Police; One arrested

Sabarmati: A local crime branch of Police nabbed a trader in possession of 4,320 reels of lethal Chinese kite string. Accused trader Babu Jagannath Jayswal(68) from Bapunagar area was having a godown full of banned Chinese kite strings ahead of the Kite flying festival which falls on January 14 and 15. A seized quantity of banned string is worth Rs. 5.28 lakh. Police during questioning learned that Babubhai had procured the banned stock from one Vikramsinh Rathod from Vapi. DeshGujarat
