935-meter-long railway overbridge inaugurated in Viramgam

Ahmedabad: The railway overbridge constructed at Bhojwa in Viramgam by the Department of Roads and Buildings and the Ministry of Railways of the Central Government was inaugurated by the State Minister for Health and Higher and Technical Education, Rishikesh Patel. Along with this, the work of resurfacing the Kalyanpura-Sachana-Kaliyana road of Viramgam taluka has also been announced by the minister.
It is worth mentioning that the construction of this 935-metre-long flyover bridge, which has been inaugurated, has been completed at a cost of Rs. 40 crore. This bridge constructed on State Highway 18 will provide great relief from the traffic problem.
Addressing the citizens of Viramgam who had gathered in large numbers on today’s occasion, Minister Rishikesh Patel said, “It is a matter of pride for us that Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi has started the politics of development from Gujarat. The government, working under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, is delivering the schemes of Jan Kalyan to the last man. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is its powerful medium.”
The benefits of 17 welfare schemes of the central government, like Ayushyamaan Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, and Jandhan Yojana, are reaching the needy through the Developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra. By benefiting from these schemes, women, youth, and small businessmen are also contributing to developing India, he added.
Mr. Rishikesh Patel said that the government is providing facilities like health, education, and transportation to all people without any discrimination. In order to increase the coverage of these facilities, a special provision will be made in the upcoming budget compared to last year’s budget.
Reassuring the people of Viramgam, the minister added that the government is trying to change the face of Viramgam in the coming years. In the coming years, several infrastructure facilities, including roads and underground drains, will be developed and expanded in Viramgam. The minister said that this newly constructed bridge will boost the connectivity between Saurashtra and North Gujarat, which will also increase the amount of industry and employment in Viramgam.
On this occasion, Viramgam MLA Mr. Hardik Patel thanked the Gujarat CM for giving in-principle approval for a grant of Rs 52 crores to solve the problem of open drains in Viramgam. He also expressed his gratitude to Minister Rishikesh Patel for giving permission in just 8 days for the construction of a college at a cost of Rs 16 crore. DeshGujarat
