Sanjay Raut defames Gujarat, calls it hub for drug transport

Mumbai: Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut, on Sunday, accused the Maharashtra government of providing false information regarding foreign direct investment, stating that over 17 major projects had relocated from Maharashtra to Gujarat.

Expressing concern for his home state, Raut went on to say that employment opportunities for local residents are shifting away from Maharashtra to Gujarat, while drugs are coming in high quantities from Gujarat, citing a significant seizure at Mundra port. “Gujarat has become a hub for drug transport”, Raut told a newspaper reporter on Sunday.

Raut lamented the forced relocation of major projects such as the diamond industry, submarine projects, and car manufacturing from Maharashtra to Gujarat, describing this shift as a form of robbery. DeshGujarat
