Love Jihad: Married man befriends women using Hindu name in Bharuch
January 02, 2024
Bharuch: Another case of love jihad has come to light in a small village in Bharuch. A young woman, working in Bharuch city, came into contact with a man named Arya Patel on social media. Arya, whose real name is Adil, trapped the woman in a love affair for four years while concealing his true identity and the fact that he was already married.
Upon realising Arya’s real name, the woman went to his residence in Chavaj village to confront him. The commotion attracted local residents, including Adil’s family, who were left in shock upon learning the truth. The incident gained widespread attention after a video of the altercation went viral.
Certain Hindu organisations took notice of the video and rallied behind the young woman, subsequently reporting the incident to Bharuch SP. Responding to the severity of the situation, Bharuch SP transferred the investigation to the Mahila Police Station, where a thorough inquiry was conducted, resulting in the formal registration of a complaint related to the incident.
In an attempt to reconcile with the young woman, Adil Patel sent an apologetic video expressing remorse. This revelation unfolded a series of deceitful events, as Adil Patel had falsely claimed that his parents were deceased. Adil, who had adopted a Hindu identity as Arya Patel, had even visited the young woman’s village, met her family, and expressed his desire to marry her. DeshGujarat
