Impersonated as Hindu & molested a Hindu woman; one nabbed in Bharuch

Bharuch: The city police have nabbed one Adil Abdul Patel from Chavaj village for impersonation, molestation, and blackmailing a Hindu woman while posing as a Hindu man.

It is learned that, in 2019, the victim woman used to study in a college in Bharuch city. At that time, Adil allegedly created a fake account under the name Arya Patel, a Hindu identity, and befriended the woman. After gaining her trust, he engaged in physical relations with her and sexually molested her several times. However, when the woman found out his true identity, he attempted to blackmail her, demanding Rs. 50,000.

Subsequently, the woman, supported by Hindu organizations, filed a complaint with Bharuch SP.
