January 12, 2024
Ahmedabad: The annual flower show, organized by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at the Sabarmati Riverfront, has garnered an overwhelming response from the public. Owing to this, the civic body has decided to extend the flower show until January 20.
Initially starting on December 30th, the flower show was scheduled to conclude on January 15. The decision to extend was made by the Municipal Corporation’s standing committee just a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the event on Thursday night. During his visit to his home state of Gujarat, the Prime Minister explored the flower show in detail at the Sabarmati Riverfront.
In another development, the Guinness Book of World Records has also awarded a certificate to the AMC for creating the longest flower structure. DeshGujarat
