Ahmedabad: The Prevention of Crime Branch (PCB) of the city police conducted a raid late Wednesday night at a Big Daddy cafe on Shela Road regarding the operation of a hookah bar there.
During the search, at around 3 am, the PCB seized around 40 hookahs, flavors, and related materials from the cafe. Samples of the hookahs collected from the cafe have been sent for testing at the Forensic Science Laboratory. It will only be clear whether the hookahs contained nicotine after the FSL report.
This action follows several complaints about illegal hookah bars operating in upscale areas of the city such as Sindhu Bhavan Road, Shela Road, etc. DeshGujarat
