Surat: All the slaughterhouses in the city will remain closed on the occasions of Ram Navami and Mahaveer Jayanti. The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has ordered the closure of slaughterhouses on the 17th of April for Ram Navami and the 21st of April for Mahaveer Jayanti.
