The complainant in this case submitted an application to the Deputy Director of the Office of Industrial Safety and Health in Bharuch for the approval of maps and plans to open a new factory in Bharuch, along with the necessary documents. The accused, Jigarbhai Jagdish Chandra Patel, who works as an Assistant Director (Class 2) in the Office of Industrial Safety and Health in Bharuch, raised a query regarding the application and demanded Rs. 1,25,000 in exchange for taking further action after resolving the query.
