Panchmahal: The administration is in action mode after the TRP Gaming Zone fire mishap. Across the state, local administrations are conducting inspections and checks at malls, supermarkets, and cinema halls. Similarly, in Godhra today, the fire department sealed Bansal Mall, Shakti Supermarket, Osia Supermarket, etc. These places either lacked adequate fire safety measures or had expired fire safety equipment. The fire department also issued a show cause notice to D Mart, located on Dahod Road in the city.

Rajdeep Sinh Rathod, In-charge Fire Officer of Godhra, stated, “Inspections have been carried out in all four zones of the municipality. D Mart has been issued a show cause notice, and Bansal Supermart, Osia Mall, Pantaloons, Silver Screen, Mullet Cinema, and Shakti Mall have all been closed after receiving notices.”
