Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has initiated an online ‘hayati’ module on its website, enabling pensioners to access hayati benefits by completing an online form. Pensioners of AMC will no longer need to physically visit for hayati purposes.

AMC has announced that pensioners can visit the following link: https://amcmodules.ahmedabadcity.gov.in/HAYATI/HAYATI/HomePage.aspx, and input their pension account number, followed by their Aadhar number. Subsequently, they are required to click the ‘generate OTP’ button and enter the OTP received on their Aadhar-linked mobile number.

Upon clicking the ‘submit’ button, a form will open for providing proof of living (hayati), where pension-related details such as name, pension type, retirement date, etc., must be filled out.

To record a hayati video, a pensioner must hold their pension card in their hand, click the ‘start recording’ button, and speak the number displayed on the screen. If prompted by their computer or mobile phone to allow video recording, pensioners must click the ‘allow’ button. Following this, they should click the ‘stop recording’ button.
