Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) sealed more units on Saturday for either lacking Building Use (BU) permission or violating BU permission, as well as for lacking the Fire Department’s No Objection Certificate (NOC).

The units sealed on Saturday include movie theaters, food courts, and hospitals.

Conn Plex Shila’s movie theater, based in Bodakdev, was sealed for violating BU regulations. Banana Multiplex, located on Sindhu Bhavan road, had violated BU regulations and failed to obtain a fire NOC. Apple Multiplex in Chandlodiya had violated BU regulations and lacked a fire NOC. Similarly, Smart Theater, situated at Shilaj circle, had violated BU regulations and also lacked a fire NOC.

Among food joints, United Food Park in Bodakdev had not obtained BU or fire NOC. HOB NOB cafe on Sindhu Bhavan road had failed to acquire BU and fire NOC.

Regarding hospitals, Samarpan Hospital on Science City road lacked a fire NOC, as did Plus Hospital on RC Technical College road. The sealing drive over violation of BU, fire norms is ongoing. In this drive so far 1016 units are checked and 104 are sealed. DeshGujarat
