Freshly elected Vadodara MP donates sum equal to his victory margin

Vadodara: Freshly elected Member of Parliament from the Vadodara seat, Dr. Hemang Joshi, has donated a cheque of Rs. 5,82,126 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in connection with providing relief to those who died in the Rajkot TRP game zone fire incident. The amount matches the lead Joshi received in the Lok Sabha election over his nearest rival, the Congress candidate. Joshi has also pledged to initiate a tree plantation drive following his victory.
