Rajkot: Saurashtra University released its academic calendar for 2024-25 on 4th June outlining the semester dates and holiday schedules. The classes are set to begin on June 26th. The first semester will be 124 days long, followed by a 106-day second semester.

The university’s recent circular provides details of the schedule for the academic year 2024-25 for Saurashtra University and its affiliated colleges. The calendar excludes specific fields such as education, medical, homeopathy, architecture, pharmacy, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-related courses. Undergraduate and postgraduate students will commence their first semester on June 26th, continuing until December 14th. The students will have a Diwali break from October 27th to November 16th in the first semester.

The second semester is scheduled to begin on December 16th, spanning 106 days. The academic year will conclude on April 28, 2025. Weekly tests, projects, and group discussions will be conducted throughout the semester as part of their coursework. Summer vacation will begin on April 29th, lasting for 49 days. DeshGujarat
