Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated 44 recharge borewells constructed across Gujarat by Vallabh Youth Organization (VYO) at a program held in the state capital.
Inspired by Vallabh Kulbhushan Vaishnavacharya Shri Vrajeshkumarji, VYO built 75 recharge borewells in 75 villages across the state on the occasion of Azadi Amrit Mahotsav. After the inauguration of 31 recharge borewells earlier, the CM today inaugurated 44 more.
The Chief Minister expressed the government’s support for social service activities aimed at improving life, including addressing important issues like water conservation.
He emphasized that water is a fundamental necessity for development. As green cover decreases, water no longer stagnates and seeps into the ground. Consequently, the groundwater table has declined, making borewell recharge essential to combat the water crisis.
Patel also highlighted that Gujarat has responded to Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi’s call to build 75 Amrit Sarovars in each district on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

Pradipbhai Dhamecha and his family from the UK, the main sponsors of the program, appreciated the opportunity to serve the motherland with the blessings and grace of Shri Vrajeshkumarji. DeshGujarat
