ACB Gujarat nabs head clerk of community health center in bribe case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Gujarat today nabbed Yashwantbhai Mokambhai Patel, the head clerk (Class 3 officer) of the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Jeetpur of Bayad taluka, in connection with a bribe case amounting to ₹7,000.
The complainant, a former lab technician who had resigned, alleged that Patel demanded the bribe to process his public holiday bills. The complainant, unwilling to pay the bribe, reported the matter to the ACB. During today’s bribe trap operation, Patel was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe money of ₹7,000.
