Ahmedabad: Prabhat Somani, owner of Technowire Data Science Ltd. in Ahmedabad has filed a Police case against Manish Goswami for an alleged fraud involving ₹2 crore.
According to a police complaint filed at Ahmedabad city police crime branch, Manish Goswami, owner of Skymit Recharge Wale Private Ltd. requested two crore rupees from Somani to bring Skymit into the IPO market. Goswami had promised shares of his company in return. Somani, who knew Goswami for over a year, transferred Rs 2 crore to him via RTGS on a trust basis.
Subsequently, Goswami dispersed the funds to multiple bank accounts and claimed non-receipt. Feeling deceived, Somani suspected a fraud of two crore rupees. Moreover, Somani also found that Goswami had also defrauded Royal IPI Private Ltd. of Rajkot.
As a result, police have booked a case against Manish Goswami, his wife Rekha Goswami, and brother Pankaj Golani under BNS sections 406, 420, and 120 B, alleging financial misconduct and breach of trust. DeshGujarat
