SMC introduces QR code scanner for tax payments

Surat: The Surat Municipal Corporation is set to introduce a QR code scanner facility at the Citizen Service Center to reduce long queues at payment counters. This QR code scanner will streamline payments for property tax and other dues.
This system was initially implemented at the Muglisara center. Following successful testing at Muglisara, the SMC plans to expand the QR code scanner to all zones within the next two weeks. DeshGujarat
