Heavy rains have led to a waterlogging crisis in Netrang Panthak. Five and a half inches of rain fell in just four hours, causing floods in several rivers. Both the Amravati and Kaveri rivers have overflowed their banks, inundating areas along their shores. The torrential downpours have severely impacted people’s lives, resulting in widespread road closures.

In the Umarpada area of Surat, the road to Eco-Tourism Devghat Falls in Surat district has been shut down. The Causeway is also closed due to flooding caused by the overflowing Mohan River.

Narmada district has experienced heavy rainfall since early morning today, accompanied by thunderstorms. Garudeshwar received 5 inches of rain within two hours, leading to flooding in areas such as Rajpipla’s Station Road, Kachiyawad, and Satyamnagar Colony. While farmers had been eagerly awaiting rain for a long time, they are now pleased with the heavy downpours since early morning. Rajpipla city, along with Sagbara, Dedyapada, and Teekalwala of the district, has also received substantial rainfall. DeshGujarat
