BRTS route from Un to Sachin GIDC likely to be modified

Surat: The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has proposed converting the double-lane BRTS route between Un Industrial Estate and Sachin GIDC into a single lane. This decision comes in response to increasing traffic issues caused by private vehicles using the BRTS lanes.
The Public Construction Committee will make a final decision on this proposal today. The plan involves spending ₹35 lakh to modify the BRTS route from Un Industrial Estate to Sachin GIDC. The change aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve road usage efficiency.
Previously, SMC had converted another double-lane BRTS route on Udhna Tran Rasta into a single lane due to similar problems. DeshGujarat
