Gandhinagar based IAS officer’s wife attempts suicide

Gandhinagar: A senior IAS officer’s wife attempted suicide by swallowing poison this morning in Gandhinagar. She was rushed to the ICU ward of Gandhinagar Civil Hospital in critical condition around 8:30 a.m. via 108 ambulance service. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
Suryaben, the estranged wife of Senior IAS officer Ranjit Tanvar, was found unconscious due to the effects of the poison. She was transported to the hospital from their residence in Sector-19. Doctors are providing intensive treatment to stabilize her condition.
Senior PI VR Kher of Sector-21 Police Station confirmed that Suryaben was brought to the hospital in a critical state and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU. Initial information indicates that she consumed a poisonous substance, and the police are awaiting her recovery to record her statement and determine the reason behind her suicide attempt.
It is learnt that Ranjit Tanvar resides alone with his children here in the city, while his wife stays in Madurai. The exact cause of Suryaben’s actions remains unknown, and further details will be revealed following her statement to the authorities. DeshGujarat
