Valsad district collector refutes fake tweet screenshot; Schools, colleges to function today

Valsad: Refuting a fake message being circulated on the social media platforms, the district collector of Vadodara through a tweet informed the citizens that the schools, kindergartens and colleges are reopening today on July 25 to resume academic activities. An edited screenshot of Valsad district collector’s tweet was made viral to spread false information that the district administration has declared holiday on July 25 in educational institutes including ITIs due to the heavy rain situation. However the district collector through a tweet refuted the fake message. Schools, colleges, ITIs were declared shut on July 24 due to the red alert heavy rain forecast by IMD. DeshGujarat
